THE MOST EPIC EDITION EVER
Never before has it made more sense to celebrate the strength of our entire community and inspire it to keep training. 2020 has presented a historical global challenge, so the Freakest Challenge must grow to raise to the occasion and take a historical step.
In last year's spectacular final there was tension until the very last rep, close to 3,000 spectators in a packed Sant Jordi Club and superstar guests Mat Fraser, Sara Sigmundsdóttir, Noah Ohlsen, Lukas Hogberg, Laura Horvath, Willy Georges, Lauren Fisher and Thuri Helgadóttir.
This year the Freakest Challenge is forced to change its final format, but still wants to go bigger and bolder. Register below and stay tuned to be the first to know about the multiple surprises of this year's Freakest Challenge.
THE DO-OR-DIE FORMAT
The Freakest Challenge is free to join, open to athletes from all over Europe and has two divisions: Teams and Individual Adaptive. The team competition only accepts one team per box, 2 males and 2 females, and it must be the owner or Head Coach who confirms who the members of that official team are.
The format of the competition is elimination rounds and it has two phases, the Online Qualifier and The Superfinal, to be held on July 10th & 11th in a super-secret and super-safe location. The final always starts with the traditional draw defining the order of play and the 1x1 duels. Only 2 teams will make it to the the very last 1x1 duel to define who the 2021 champion is.

A GRASSROOTS STORY
The Freakest Challenge was born in 2015 from the energy of an entire community dedicated and committed to training. In that first edition 20 teams competed for 4 months at Fittest Freakest, the specialty training and weightlifting store downtown Bacelona. Every weekend 2 teams would battle head-to-head to advance in the competition. 8 teams made it to the final, but only 1 took the title home.
The competition has remained faithful to that energy and its exciting format, becoming after 4 editions a celebration for an entire community and a pinnacle moment of the season for athletes and fans.
Teamwork is very often the key to success, and the Freakest Challenge soon found in Nike the perfect partner to make of this competition one of the most spectacular and unique events on the international scene.
The best teams, an incomparable atmosphere, superstar guests and tension until the very last rep. Functional fitness at its best.
